After the graduation from high school, he obtained a Law degree from the University of Bologna (Alma Mater Studiorum).
During the period of professional practice at an International Law Firm, he had the opportunity to gain significant experience with cases and practices with a substantial impact in commercial law, corporate law and civil procedure.
After passing the Bar exam for the qualification of the lawyer profession in Albania, he became a member of the Chamber of Advocates in Tirana and then he qualified to practice the profession of lawyer in Italy as well.
As part of his postgraduate education, he received a Master’s degree in “International Jurist” at the University of Bologna and a PhD in “Government of the European Union, Social and Tax Policies” at the University of Naples (SUN).
He regularly gives lectures and seminars on cross-border trade relations and legal aspects between Italy and Albania. He is also a lecturer in Civil Procedural Law.
Adv. Dr. Lulzim Alushaj is fluent in Albanian and Italian at a native-like level and is qualified for defence and representation of clients at all levels of Court, including the Supreme Court and all special courts. In particular, the distinguishing aspect of his professional background is the practice of his profession while holding dual legal qualifications as an Attorney-at-Law in both Italy and Albania.
For several years, he was chosen as an expert in the field of civil procedural law at the Albanian School of Magistrates (Training School for Judges and Public Prosecutors of the Republic of Albania) and regularly gives training classes at this School. He also has various collaborations with national and international training bodies and institutions.
Lulzim Alushaj is the Managing Partner of Legale Albania Law & Tax, a firm based in Tirana, Albania, focusing on consulting and assisting international companies operating in various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, construction, energy, automotive, mass media, tourism, and telecommunications. Since 2023 he has been elected as a member of the Executive Council of the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in Albania – A.I.I.A. ( Confimi Albania ), affiliated with CONFIMI INDUSTRIA ITALIA. This association promotes its activities in the Republic of Albania and aims to collaborate with Balkan and/or Italian industrial realities.
